Congratulations on the debut of your play Aprons Away: Women’s Work on the Mother Road, which debuted at the 4th annual Route 66 Miles of Possibility Conference in Carlinville last October.

The play was well-written and well-performed while also complimented with authentic photographs on screen as the silhouettes played out on stage. Audiences will surely learn as much as I did about the untold history of the women who played important roles in their own special ways in the making of the history of Route 66.

I absolutely recommend this play for future venues!

Hats off to Cheryl! (I can say that, I actually wear a hat!) I was fortunate enough to be in attendance for the first run of Aprons Away at the 2018 Miles of Possibility Route 66 Conference in Carlinville, Illinois. I found Aprons Away to be a fascinating play! It gave me great insight into the stories of some of the strong women that made Route 66 what it was and still is today. You can add Cheryl to that list of strong women!
