The two-act stage play, Aprons Away: Women’s Work on the Mother Road, is available for booking in theaters across the U.S. Options include: full production brought to your theater; your theater/community providing actors, costumes, and props, with playwright Cheryl Eichar Jett providing direction; or your theater/community mounting full production of the play via payment of production rights and purchase of the appropriate number of published scripts.
Also, the original one-act version of Aprons Away: Women’s Work on the Mother Road is being optimized for 45-minute performances at museums and schools at a lower cost and with a smaller ensemble cast than the two-act theatre version. Currently, the one-act version is available for bookings only in Illinois and Missouri due to travel expenses. Bookings for the one-act museum- and school-appropriate version being accepted for dates beginning Fall 2019.
